About the Founder

I am of Sri Lankan Tamil heritage born & raised in Singapore & have lived and studied in the UK, California, Melbourne and finally settled down in West London.

My first career as a young graduate was as a Marketing & PR consultant. However, in my mid 40’s I retrained & graduated with a BSc in Speech and Language Science. I worked with Stroke Patients with communication, cognition, speech and swallow difficulties.

However, my journey to Ayurveda came about for a personal reason. For several years my husband had been suffering from severe migraines due to stress. During these years it was clear that the conventional medical (Allopathic) pathways were not helping him. This inspired me to further investigate natural remedies where a new passion in Ayurveda was unlocked. My motivation is to help others be in control of their health using time tested natural remedies.

I am a qualified Ayurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Consultant and an Ayurveda Manual (Massage) Therapist. I trained at the Ayurveda Pura Academy in East London under the teachings of Dr Deepa. I also recently qualified as a Hatha Yoga Teacher from the Sivananda Yoga in Madurai, South India.

My hope is to make people more aware of the benefits of natural healthcare remedies which Ayurveda can provide and enable people to feel more in control of their health.
